Big-D Construction Named 2011 "Best of State" Award Winner

SALT LAKE CITY – JUNE 13, 2011 — Big-D Construction (www.big-d.com) received a 2011 “Best of State” Award in the category of Commercial Construction during the Best of State Awards Gala on Saturday, June 4th.

The Best of State Awards were created to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah. By recognizing excellence in the community and sharing examples of success and triumph in so many worthy endeavors, it is the hope that all will be inspired to reach a little higher, to try a little harder, and to work a little longer to achieve dreams and goals.

There are three criteria used by the judges to determine the award winners:

• Overall excellence, superiority and quality of a nominee's products, services or performance.

• Creativity which nominees display to differentiate themselves from their competition.

• Nominee's accomplishments to improve the quality of life in their community and state, and their efforts to make the world a better place.
