

The accelerated schedule was accomplished using a partnering design-build delivery system, along with the "Fast Track" methodology. This process included the cooperation and participation of various municipal entities, the Owner's team, and the design/construction team.
The facility includes the following: dry warehouse, dry dock & support areas - 148,000 square-feet, perishables warehouse & cold dock areas - 116,000 square-feet, office & support areas - 62,000 square-feet, and vehicle maintenance facility 13,000 square-feet. This project represents the seventh project Big-D Construction has completed for SYSCO Corporation.
