Twin Farms rests on three hundred acres of fields, forests, gardens and lake.
The architecture of Twin Farms honors the classic Vermont traditions in building
and design, every structure serene and balanced. Stone and pine, maple and
brick, rich colors, soft patterns and gorgeous antiques combine to form a
realm of purely personal luxury. The property includes a main house and lodge,
with multiple themed cottages scattered over the property.
Big-D Signature is currently working on 5 projects for Twin Farms Resort.
The Farmhouse and Barn including 4 rooms and adjoining library; the Cabana
next to the lake that includes a sport room and kitchen; the dining room expansion
and dining terrace addition; and the Aviary, shown here.
The Aviary structure provides a glass wall that looks out into the lush Vermont
forest. Tongue-in-groove vertical-grained Douglas fir floors, walls and ceilings
give the spaces a warm, golden tone. The seamless looking walls cover hidden
service entrances and work areas on the interior, so that occupants need never
see anyone, not even the help. The crowning touch is the indoor stone fireplace
which cascades down to surround the in-floor jetted tub.
