Big-D is not the first contractor to ask this question. But we’re always the first to answer it. At Big-D, we’ll take a proactive role in managing the warranty of your project — not just during the one-year warranty period, but far beyond. Many builders operate on a “complete and retreat” approach, which can leave new owners feeling overwhelmed and alone with their questions. Not Big-D. We believe that long-term support cultivates long-term relationships and repeat business.
When we complete your building, our quality assurance manager will become your single-source contact for answers to all of your follow-up questions.
Complete and Repeat. That’s Big-D’s approach.
Here’s how it works:
At the start of your warranty period, we’ll meet with you to collect and catalog all warranty information. We’ll also spot-check your new building and promptly resolve any standout issues. For the next 11 months, our QA representatives will check-in with you on a regular basis to anticipate your warranty needs.
Finally, near the end of your warranty period, your quality assurance manager will schedule an 11-month walk-through with your facility manager to document any warranty items. This is done to assure that all warranty work is completed prior to the warranty expiration.
What if I have a warranty issue?
We realize that waiting for answers can be frustrating, and we pledge to respond to your warranty questions and concerns within 24 hours — even if we don't have a complete diagnosis for you. If a warranty issue does arise, we want your wait to be painless; so we'll leave you in the know, even if we don't know — yet.
If required, your quality assurance manager will:
Big-D will follow-up to make sure all warranty work is completed in a timely manner.
From a single point of contact, Big-D’s Quality Assurance team will enable you to focus on your own business operations, while trusting an experienced professional to provide peace-of-mind that can only be attained through decades of construction experience. And the only question on your mind will be, “What if all companies were this easy to work with?”
