As one of the leading department stores in the nation, Kohls required a contractor with the experience and ability to meet their ultra-aggressive building goals. (Their schedule calls for 100 new retail stores per year.)



Big-D was their contractor of choice for several single-story, 90,000 square-foot retail stores in Utah. Our scope of work included the building, sidewalks and entrances, as well as a limited amount of landscaping.



The buildings are masonry with a steel roof structure. The exterior is painted with brick and/or stone accents at the entrances. An attached 2-story support area houses the administration, customer service, shipping, receiving and storage areas. Interior store fixtures and flooring were furnished by the Owner.
