The Kennecott Utah Copper Truck Wash is located half way up the pit adjacent to the Truck Shop. The large haul trucks are washed prior to going into the Truck Shop for service. This project consisted of a 70’ tall 5,700 SF truck wash structure, a 1,170 SF small truck wash, a 1,500 SF pump house, and a 2,600 SF sediment pond which services an environmentally friendly filtration system that recycles the secondary water into the wash system. The project included approximately 3000 cubic yards of concrete placement.
