A "RICH" BENEFIT PACKAGE. AND RICH IS GOOD.

Healthcare. The majority (80% plus) of your healthcare premium for both you and your family is paid by Big-D. You are offered the choice of a traditional Preferred Provider Plan with deductibles and co-pays, or a High Deductible Health Plan with a self funded Health Savings Account (HSA)

Dental. The majority (80% plus) of your dental premium for both you and your family is paid by Big-D. Our current network of dentists is provided by Humana.

Life Insurance. In addition to funding your unemployment and workers compensation benefits, Big-D provides each employee with $50,000 worth of life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Disability Insurance. In case you are disabled for more than 90 days, Big-D pays for Long Term Disability coverage.

Vacation. Between Safety Days, President’s Club events and paid vacation, employees can enjoy up to 10-plus days of paid time off. We celebrate up to 10 holidays. Depending on your position with the company these may be paid or unpaid.

Safety Equipment. Big-D provides top-notch gloves, safety glasses, safety vests and hard hats to all employees.

Company Annual Events. These include a President’s Club awards dinner for all employees who have completed 5 or more years of service. (By the way, right now that club includes over 225 employees.) Big-D holds an annual golf outing and annual BBQ. In addition, Big-D sponsors numerous other events throughout the year with our business and community partners – including shooting tournaments, safety rodeos, fishing tournaments, etc.

Reimbursement. If you are not in a company vehicle and are asked to travel for business (other than your commute) you will be reimbursed for your mileage.

Health & Wellness. Big-D is a sponsor of an employee health assistance program and other wellness activities to remind, encourage and support employees in making lifestyle improvements.
