ARE YOU AND BIG-D A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN, OR SOMEWHERE LESS APPEALING?

To answer that question, let’s consider the following.

You’ll be working with other professionals for the duration of an average construction project -- 12 to 18 months.   You and others assigned to the project will be a team. If you’re not team oriented, think twice.

Your team will be its own little company for the duration of the project. You’ll tap into the resources and expertise of Big-D, as needed, but the bottom line rests with you and your teammates. In essence, you’re a partner in running your own business.

Teams that meet the needs of our clients and bring success to Big-D are recognized and rewarded via compensation, benefits and promotions.   Sounds fair, right?

A note of caution: We don’t suffer fools, egotism, or sloth well.

Interpersonal skills are valuable working in team settings. In other words, you have to be a good communicator, enjoy working with others and have an ability to build camaraderie. From the top to the bottom, our executives and associates are engaged with clients, architects, engineers, owners, subcontractors, and personnel.

Want to thrive in our environment?  Here’s how.

  1. Use your expertise to make a positive difference every day.
  2. Be safety oriented – our goal is a zero injury workplace.
  3. Offer solutions, not complaints.  Find ways to move a project forward for the client and the owners.
  4. Always be engaged in developing yourself professionally.
