505 Wakara Way Office Building

The 505 Wakara Way project is a new, three-story, multi-tenant office building located at University of Utah Research Park. Big-D was responsible for construction of the building core and shell. The project included demolition of an existing building onsite, as well as all associated sitework and landscaping. The Class A office building utilized a variety of exterior materials, including storefront and glass curtainwall, metal panels, and brick masonry veneer. The structure includes a third-floor terrace, skylights, a 25,532-sf, single-level open parking garage that accommodates 60 vehicles, and a drive thru for future credit union tenant. Big-D Construction self-performed the site and structural concrete work and successfully completed the project on schedule.
