This 90,000-sf design-build project entails site work, building augmentation and a fit-up style renovation to the current space. Additions include a new aluminum press, infrastructure enhancements, foundation work, mechanical and electrical utility upgrades. Hydro Press is a multi-sub project job that spans across a two and a half-year contract commitment. Teams worked in tandem with architectural engineers to complete asphalt drives, gate and fencing, electrical gear upgrades, modifications to the north and south OHD openings, civil design, break room trailer construction, underground electrical work and a new OMAV cooler support structure. Fire bricks have also been installed at pump rooms and coatings have been added to the floor and pit. Additional modifications were also required to keep the structures in line with building compliance codes.
