Kessimakis Produce Warehouse

This warehouse and distribution facility features tilt-up concrete construction with a multi-colored painted exterior accented by metal panels. The building includes 22 dock doors, a two-story 7,200-square-foot office, dry goods storage, and an 11,500-square-foot shell space reserved for future tenant buildout. Sophisticated temperature-controlled environments were central to the project, with 35,100 square feet of conditioned space including a 16,000-square-foot cold dock maintained at 40 degrees. Three distinct temperature zones ranging from 36 to 50 degrees accommodate varying produce storage and ripening requirements. Big-D self-performed all concrete work, including site and structural components. The scope also encompassed complete site development with utilities, paving, and landscaping.
