The Gateway Mixed-Use Development Block A

The Gateway project is a massive walking community encompassing three city blocks. Block A contains a mixture of restaurants, parking, retail and office space. The parking structure is 554,000 square feet and contains 1,482 stalls on four levels (with two underground).

A tunnel connects to other blocks of the project. The retail space boasts 264,000 square feet and includes a 12-screen theater, an Imax screen, upscale restaurants and a new home for Utah’s Clark Planetarium. The retail and office space is contained in two buildings, separated by a pedestrian mall with a water feature. The highlight of the southern end of the block is a 136,000-square-foot office on six levels.
