The Nest @ Rio Grande Apartments

This five-story multifamily development near the historic Rio Grande Station consists of 220 affordable housing units funded by the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program. The units are divided into 140 studio apartments and 80 one-bedroom apartments. The wood-framed structure features a distinctive exterior of varied color brick and thin brick veneers, with a 50-space parking garage on the first level. Resident amenities include a game room, lounge, fitness center, yoga room, dog washroom, and a large outdoor courtyard. A spacious community room with kitchen provides space for events and gatherings, along with a conference room for residents to work and study. Big-D self-performed the structural and site concrete work on the project.
