Bear Lake County Courthouse

The new Bear Lake County Courthouse is a 15,686-sf single-floor building consisting of a courtroom, administrative spaces, a dedicated area for the Bear Lake County driver’s license division, and multiple office spaces, which include both coworking areas as well as private offices. The new courthouse was constructed to replace the city’s historic courthouse, which was built in the late 1800s. In addition to the court itself, Big-D equipped the building with a designated room for county commissioners’ meetings. This addition was added to meet the needs of the growing city. Throughout preconstruction, Big-D explored value engineering ideas, which resulted in savings for the Bear Lake County Commissioners office.
